The good part
So finally after two very despondent matches (the Levente 1-0 stunner and the Racing stalemate) Real finally turned the earth back on its axis, at least for now. The match started with a stunning rebounder goal in favor of Rayo in '12 seconds (the fastest goal ever scored at the Bernabeu). Real were to come before the end of the first half though with goals from Cristiano and Pipita. Cris scored a hat-trick thanks to two penalties. Varane scored his first Madrid goal and became the youngest player to do so. Mercedes Benz also got on the score sheet thanks to "the German engineer" (Ozil). All in all, not a bad game.
Aside
What's up with Di Maria? After becoming the hero in our last uefa game, he suddenly became quite villainous. It was his simulation that led to the brawl in the Levente game and in turn Khedira’s red card. Then in this game he gets a red (second yellow) for handball. I hope it is just a phase. (Remember Marcelo?)
Anyhow, we're all set for Ajax. I hope it's a good game (In Real's favor of course). Now that Louise "the hand of the devil" Suarez is safely held in Liverpool and Maarten Stekelenburg is stretchered somewhere in Roma, there shouldn't be too much to worry about.... I hope.
